Cairns is the jump off point for two major Australian attractions;
The Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics World Heritage Rainforest Area plus lots of Adrenalin fueled activities.
Ringed on three sides by rainforest covered ranges, with the Coral Sea on the fourth, Cairns Seaport is a terminal for many major cruise ship. It is also home to a fleet of local cruise ships, charter boats, game fishing craft and Great Barrier Reef day tour and dive boats. Cairns is a great place to visit, and scenically, is one of the most appealing cities in Australia.
Roads in the Cairns Business District and suburban areas are accessible by conventional vehicles. Fuel outlets are plentiful and many are open 24 hours. We have all major banks and building societies including ANZ, Westpac, Metway, National Australia, Commonwealth, State Bank, Suncorp, Northern Permanent, Qld Teachers Credit Union, Currency Exchange, Bureau de Change and Travelex.
